Support Groups

The Harbor provides free and confidential support groups throughout the year.  We offer groups for adult survivors of domestic violence, survivors who experienced sexual assault and anyone healing from trauma. Support groups are open to people of all genders. See below for details on current groups.

Seeking Safety At Providence

Meets Thursdays at 4-5:30pm at Seaside Providence Hospital 725 S Wahanna Rd, Seaside, OR 97138

This group provides support to individuals who are healing from trauma. We work with coping skills and techniques for handling the effects of trauma in your life. H.E.A.R.T Group

Meets Wednesdays at 10am at our advocacy center. 801 Commercial St. Astoria, OR 97103

This group focuses on Help Ending Abusive Relationship Tendencies. Group participants will be discussing topics around power and control dynamics in relationships, the effects of domestic violence on children, and how individuals can recognize abusive patterns. Those who attend will new gain information on how to recognize the cycle of violence, ideas for improving personal safety and resources for getting help.  This is an open, ongoing group.
